High Speed | Large Capacity

SageMicro’s SSD units with high-speed & large capacity provide two optional interfaces for different applications:

• Series Bus: VPX interface as typical, covering SATA, PCIE, Rapid-IO;
• Parallel Bus: pure digital bus, FMC interface.

These modules can be applied by system integrators in instruments (such as event data recorder for vehicles) . tester or analyzer equipment.

FMC SSD module is specially designed for system integration vendors who need both high speed and high density storage space without the latency of complicated bus protocol interpretation or the power consumption of serial bus physical layer circuits.

FMC SSD module provides a simple patented interface with 64-bit or 128-bit width digital bus, so called Ultra Wide Digital Interface (UWDI), which provides extreme high performance for data stream. A set of SageMicro’s controllers are grouped to manage a flash chip array by parallel data processing to obtain high data throughput.

FMC SSD module can be regarded as one of SageMicro’s basic modularized products. Per customer’s demand, SageMicro can make modifications based on the verified FMC module and quickly deliver an desired product with customer’s satisfaction.
